Press Inspections

Femco Machine offers qualified press technicians to inspect your press to prevent unscheduled repairs and breakdowns. Our technical staff will prepare an inspection program tailored to your specific equipment. Your organization will be supplied with a detailed report with recommendations on any repairs, if needed.

New Press Manufacturing

Femco Machine can manufacture presses to your specifications and design. Femco can handle the manufacturing of all mechanical components, outsourcing, or buyout items such as motors, bearings, and other special components. In addition, Femco can supply you with state of the art electrical controls which are designed to your specific application.

New Parts Manufacturing

Femco Machine can provide you with new parts built to industry standards. We can supply the following parts for most metal forming equipment:

  • Shaft, Pins, & Bushings
  • Crankshafts
  • Eccentrics
  • Gearing - Bevel, Spur, Helical, and Double Helical
  • Connecting Rods
  • Tie Rods

Femco can also make parts to your drawing or via reverse engineering.


Press and Upsetter Rebuilds

With the high cost of new metal forming equipment, Femco Machine offers complete rebuilds and upgrades of your existing equipment.

Inspection

Parts will be thoroughly inspected against industry standards. All welds will be MAG particle and dye tested for integrity.

Machining & Repairs

Femco offers a wide variety of machining equipment and qualified technicians to return your components back to industry standards.

Sub-Assemblies

New bearings, lubrication systems, and other product improvements are completed. Components are assembled and tested prior to final assembly.

Shop Assembly

Components are assembled at our press repair center.

Run-Off & Testing

Run-off generally consists of 4-8 hours of continuous operation. Load testing is performed, temperatures are monitored, and all operational data is recorded.

Rolling Bolsters
